PCE specializes in the overhaul of both Continental and Lycoming engines and their associated accessories and components. Through individual focus and group commitment, we pride ourselves on producing a safe, reliable product and providing quality service. Our facility is now located in Simi Valley, CA. Offering a full-service engine shop and a new installation avionics shop, PCE has become one of the leading service organizations in support of general aviation.
We are equipped with the latest machinery to provide a full array of services, including ultrasonic cleaning, media blasting, ultrasonic inspection, magnetic particle inspection, liquid penetrant inspection, computerized engine balancing, accessory/component repair and overhaul, cylinder repair and overhaul, propeller strike inspections, specialized machining, cylinder barrel honing, final engine test, avionics repairs, FAR 91.411 and 91.413 inspections, and Garmin software updates.
Additionally, we provide new avionics installations at our facility at Van Nuys Airport. If we don’t do it, we know where to get it done. PCE only utilizes well-known, industry-established vendors, and we are factory distributors for Precision Airmotive, Marvel Schebler, Tempest, and Garmin. PACIFIC CONTINENTAL ENGINES SERVICES
Complete new limit major overhaul and final test in accordance with OEM specifications.
Complete engine repair and certification in compliance with OEM recommendations for a propeller strike.
PCE offers complete in-house fuel system repair and overhaul of CMI/TCM throttle controls, fuel controls, fuel pumps, flow dividers, fuel nozzles, and fuel regulators. Final bench testing provided for quality assurance.
Complete in-house connecting rod repair and overhaul including NDT, bushing replacement, large end re-size, balancing, twist check, and dimensional inspection.
Complete crankshaft repair and overhaul provided including cleaning, NDT, dimensional, run-out, polish, grind, nitrite, ultrasonic, flange CAD plating, Hines balancing, and component final assembly. (Grind, nitrite, and CAD plating provided by FAA certified outside vendors).
Complete in-house cylinder repair and overhaul including NDT, guide replacement, seat replacement, barrel honing, chrome plating, nickel plating, dimensional, and component final assembly. (Chrome and Nickel plating provided by FAA certified outside vendors).
With an on-site ASNT Level III technician, PCE offers in-house magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and ultrasonic inspection capabilities.
Complete in-house magneto 500-hour inspection, troubleshooting, in-service repair, and overhaul services provided. Final bench testing provided for quality assurance.
Complete in-house oil pump in-service repair and overhaul including NDT, pump body weld repair, machining, and component final assembly. (Weld repair services provided by FAA certified outside vendors).
